I am a contemporary fine artist whose work explores memory, place, and quiet emotional presence. Growing up along the rocky shores of Pacific Grove, California, and later settling in the countryside of Middle Tennessee. My paintings are shaped by the contrast I've lived
with, from the movement and climate of the ocean and the stillness of nature, and the quiet ways both shape memory, feeling and a sense of calm being.
Working intuitively with a layered process and expressive form, I create pieces that invite reflection, atmosphere, and a lasting sense of connection.
My work is created using a hybrid process, combining acrylic under-painting with oil to build depth, softness, and atmosphere.
I create work meant to be lived with, offering a sense of calm, comfort, and belonging in the spaces it enters.
